Sowing NYSC Extra Khaki – Do You Really Need It?

One of the questions I get often and often is “Should I sow an Extra NYSC Khaki? Do I really need another NYSC Khaki or Is Sowing an extra NYSC Khaki really necessary?

While the white shorts, Vest and tennis you will be given in camp will be inferior and low in quality, the NYSC Uniform comprising the Crested vest, the Khaki, Jungle boot, Face Cap will be original and of good quality.

Although the Khaki you will be given in camp will be oversize and you will need to slim fit and make it smart, however, the material is so original that even if you are wearing it every day for a year, it will still be shining.

The fact is, the NYSC Khaki is original and of great quality, you will not be wearing it every day (most people might not even wear it except for CDS days and Clearance days during their entire PPA life.) The straight answer is that you don’t need an extra NYSC Khaki for anything and paying for an extra one is not really worth it at all. After 11 months, it will be illegal and a crime for you to be wearing your NYSC Khaki around because by then, you would have passed out and now an ex-corper.

What you need are other NYSC kits like the white vest, tennis, shorts, and others. The NYSC Khaki you will get in camp will absolutely be enough for your National youth service Corps life.
