NYSC Redeployment
NYSC redeployment is the ability that every corps members have to apply for a change of their state of deployment.
After the NYSC registration, you are hopeful that NYSC will post you to a good state. Although there are no bad states in Nigeria, however, in your own mind, you have classified some states as bad states.
The call-up letter arrived, and your fear has come true. NYSC just deployed to one of those states you don’t like. You don’t have to cry or worry yourself too much because you have the option to apply for redeployment.
The NYSC management will give you the option to change the state, and the process of applying for the change of that state is called NYSC redeployment.
The 3 Official Reasons
The NYSC management did provide room for changing the state of deployment, but also, there are just 3 reasons you can use for the application.
NYSC will only allow you to apply for NYSC relocation if you have any of these 3 reasons below.
1. Marriage: If you are a female Corps member and you are married, you can apply for redeployment on the bases of marriage.
NYSC respects the union of a married couple. So they will approve the redeployment with immediate effect.
It will even be so easier if you specify that you are married during the NYSC registration. So marriage is one of the reasons you can use.
Get all the necessary documents and apply during orientation camp or after, and nysc will grant your application.
2. Insecurity: Another reason that will make NYSC approve your redeployment application is because of Insecurity.
If there is Insecurity in your state of deployment, you can use this as a reason to apply for relocation, and the management will grant it. Your life is very important.
