NYSC Rejection Letter
This is a letter from a place primary assignment to reject a particular Corps member or some set of Corps Members deployed to their company, organization or firm.
From orientation camp, Corps Members will get a PPA letter to a specific firm or company or organization where they will carry out the 11 months of NYSC service.
Every place of primary assignment reserves the right to accept or reject Corps members deployed to their organisation.
So, if a PPA rejects a Corps member, they will have to write an official letter to notify the NYSC management that they will be rejecting such a Corps member.
NYSC Rejection Letter Sample
This sample below is just for educational purposes and also for you to see what it looks like. You cannot copy or reuse it for anything.
This NYSC Rejection Letter sample is just one example from a place of primary assignment. Each NYSC PPA has a special way of preparing its own rejection letter.
The reason for the rejection will also determine how the rejection letter content will be. One sure thing is every rejection letter in NYSC drives towards rejecting a Corps Member from a particular PPA.
One thing to also note is that while some PPA will write a rejection letter, some will just write rejected on the PPA letter and stamp it and that’s their own way of saying they have rejected you.
NYSC Rejection Letter Format
It is a formal letter so it should have all the characteristics of a formal letter. You will address it to the state Coordinator through the NYSC secretariat of the state of the PPA.
Opening Salutation and the ‘REJECTION OF A CORPS MEMBER’ will follow. The opening paragraph will be to identify the corps members or some set of Corps Members you want to reject.
Other paragraphs will be the reason why you want to reject them from your organisation. You should explain in detail but not too comprehensively.
Then the closing remark and the signature will follow. Make sure you avoid grammatical blunders and use simple grammar.
You should use the letterhead paper of the company and proofread it before you send the letter.
How To Write an NYSC Rejection Letter
The first thing is to understand that the purpose of the letter is solely to reject Corps members and in the real sense, you do have a reason to reject them. This is what the letter will be based on.
The letter will be a formal letter and the body will be to state the corps member you are rejecting and also explain the reason for the rejection in detail.
How Does the NYSC Rejection Letter Look Like
Below is a picture of what the letter looks like.
In conclusion, the NYSC Rejection Letter generally is for Corps Members whose PPA does not want them either due to one reason or the other.
