There is an official public notice about the graduation date on all statements of results from Batch C 2022. Read the official public notice below.
“Prospective Corps members (PCMs) should note that the NYSC will only accept Statement of Results with Dates of Graduation in the complete format of Day/Month/Year.
The NYSC considers all Statement of Results like Month/Year (for example 09/2022) or Year only (for example 2022) as incomplete and the PCMs will not be registered at the NYSC Orientation Camps.
PCMs with such Statement of Results are advised to contact the Registrars/Student Affairs Officers (SAOs) of their Institutions for resolution.”
This information above is strictly official and must be taken seriously. If you don’t get it, let me explain better.
According to the NYSC management, all statements of the result must carry full graduation date in the format of Day/Month/Year. This means that the statement of result in your hand that you will use for NYSC, the graduation date must be written out in full. [Read also: NYSC Batch C 2022 Overview – Everything You Must Know]
For instance, if you graduated on 24th of August 2022, your graduation date on your statement of result must be 24/08/2022.
If it carries 08/2022 or just 2022, you will not be allowed to register in camp. It have to be in full.
This is a new policy because, in the time past, the statement of result can carry only year of graduation, only month and year of graduation but at the moment, the NYSC management will not take that again. It have to be in full.
What You Should Do Now
The action you should take right now is to check your statement of result and confirm your graduation date is written in full format (Day/Month/Year).
If your graduation date follows this format, you are safe and if your own did not follow this format, you should quickly contact your school for resolution.
Make sure you check your statement of result right now to confirm this date format. If your school is yet to give you your statement of result, inform them about the new development so that they don’t give you stress in camp.

I finished ND 2015 and HND 2019… I called both result same day 2022 just going for service this year, do I need to go to camp with my ND certificate? Cos I don’t have it yet

Hi For my grad date i put 27th April of 2022 because that’s when I actually had the ceremony and collected my transcript. But the statement says 9 July 2021. Pls will I have problem. I’m a foreign student and I’m going for verification on Friday thanks

Hi Lola, on checking my statement of result the date does not tally with that on the nysc senate list. Reported to my school’s Students affairs. How will I know if the issue has been resolved?

I graduated 2015 but didn’t go for service then but planning to go now but my result bears month and year and no date. What should I do considering I graduated since 2015

Green card: 01/05/2018
There are same date
On the statement of result Month comes before day
But on green card Day come before Month
