The NYSC management released a public notice on a compulsory webinar that will hold on Friday 27th August and it has generated a lot of questions.
This post is an attempt to clarify some things about the mandatory webinar.
First of all, this is the first time something like this happening in the history of NYSC and the reason behind it, we don’t know.
Before I proceed, let me show you the Official notice below incase you don’t know what we are talking about.
ATTENTION: COMPULSORY WEBINAR FOR ALL 2021 ‘B’ STREAM II PROSPECTIVE CORPS MEMBERS (PCMs)
This is to notify all 2021 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Prospective Corps members (PCMs) that there is going to be a webinar meeting organised by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) and the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Friday, 27th August 2021 at 10am prompt.
Attendance is compulsory for all PCMS and only those who attend the webinar will be given access to print their callup letters to proceed to the orientation camp on the 31st of August 2021.
The link for the Webinar meeting will be provided in due course via the dashboards of the PCMs.
The information is self explanatory and apart from the date of the webinar, another thing to note is that according to the management, only those who attend the webinar will go with Stream II.
A webinar is a seminar conducted on the Internet.
A webinar allows a speaker from the hosting organization/company to share PowerPoint presentations, videos, web pages or other multimedia content with audiences that can be located anywhere.
So where you are doesn’t matter as you will be able to access the webinar from all over the country as long as you have an Internet connection.
There is always a special link to join the webinar and the link will be announced by the management. Once the link is out, we will share it so that you can access the webinar via the link with your smartphone.
