The management, staff and corps members in Akwa Ibom State have been thrown into mourning by the sudden and untimely death of a corps member, Miss Ezi Mary with the state code AK/19B/0977.
Mary died in a fatal motor accident on her way with a colleague to document at NYSC Ibeno L.G Secretariat. While she died at the spot, her colleague Joshua Usman AK/19B/0105 sustained injuries and now receiving medical attention.
Until her death last Friday, Mary was undertaking her primary assignment duties at Precious Stone, Ibeno, Ibeno L.G.A.
While we pray for quick recovery of Joshua, it is also our fervent prayer for the peaceful repose of Mary’s soul as burial arrangement is ongoing in her home-state of Rivers.
This is indeed a very sad news. I pray that God will grant her family the fortitude to bear the loss. I also pray for the quick recovery of Joshua. May God’s grace be sufficient for us all, Amen!
