The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially released a circular confirming the 2026 Batch ‘A’ Stream I Orientation Course schedule across the 36 states and the FCT.
According to the circular dated 5th January, 2026, the Director-General has approved the commencement and key activities of the orientation exercise as follows:

Commencement:
Wednesday, 21st January, 2026
Registration Period:
Wednesday, 21st January – Friday, 23rd January, 2026
Registration Cut-Off:
Midnight, Friday, 23rd January, 2026
Swearing-In Ceremony:
Friday, 23rd January, 2026
Closing Date:
Tuesday, 10th February, 2026
The orientation course will hold simultaneously in all NYSC orientation camps nationwide, including the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) are advised to take note of these dates, make necessary travel arrangements early, and strictly adhere to the registration deadline, as late registration will not be entertained.
