The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced the commencement date for the 2026 Batch B Stream II Orientation Course.
According to the scheme, the 2026 Batch B Stream II Orientation Course will begin on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, across all NYSC Orientation Camps nationwide.
This announcement serves as an important update for Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) who have been awaiting the start of the orientation exercise.
All eligible PCMs are advised to continue monitoring the NYSC portal and their dashboards for further instructions, including the release of call-up letters and other camp-related information.
The orientation course marks the beginning of the mandatory three-week camping exercise, where corps members will participate in drills, lectures, leadership training, social activities, and other programmes designed to prepare them for the service year.
Prospective Corps Members are encouraged to begin making the necessary preparations ahead of the camp opening date and ensure they have all required documents ready before reporting to their respective orientation camps.
