Just In: FG Announces Phase IV Of COVID-19 Lockdown

THIS IS A FAKE NEWS. PLEASE DISREGARD IT

The Federal Government has announced Phase IV of the COVID-19 lockdown across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The Head of Technical Secretariat of the Presidential Steering Committee (PSC) on COVID-19, Dr. Mukhtar Mohammed, who made the announcement on Monday in Abuja, said the new directive is to take effect by midnight of Tuesday, May 11.

With the lockdown imposed, mass gatherings in public spaces have been restricted to 50 people at any given time. Access to government institutions would also be denied to anyone not wearing a face mask while government meetings and travels have been limited to the virtual platform.

According to Mohammed, the government has directed that bars and nightclubs should remain closed and the nationwide curfew will be in force until further notice. He added that only essential international travels would be encouraged, and all existing protocols must be strictly adhered to.

For now, we don’t know either this will affect NYSC in anyway or Not.

Let’s recall that the NYSC 2021 BATCH A Stream II orientation camp will hold on the 18th of this month.

Why we are all waiting for the call-up letter to be out, this was announced. Let’s all be calm and wait for the management to release a public update.

  3. Well since part of the information says that access to government institutions will not be granted to anyone who fail to put on face mask,I think the lockdown effect will not affect batch A 2021 stream 2 going to camp on the 18th provided that every Corp member obey the rule to put on their respective face mask.

  4. This government doesn’t understand itself again, why must we go on lockdown for God sake. Issues that government should look into would be jeopardized, they would rather want to suffer citizens with their stupid lokdown power, God will take your lives one day
