If you are a former NYSC Corps Member who started your service but later stopped reporting without completing the service year, the NYSC Remobilization for 2026 Batch B is an important opportunity to return and complete your national service.
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has opened the remobilization process for eligible Corps Members who previously absconded from service. The process is different from fresh NYSC registration and also different from revalidation.
It’s worth noting that the remobilisation is specifically for Corps Members who were previously mobilised and absconded from service, either during camp or after camping.
What Is NYSC Remobilization?
NYSC remobilization is the process through which a Corps Member who previously started national service but absconded is brought back into the scheme to continue or complete the required service.
This is important because some Corps Members may leave their Place of Primary Assignment, stop reporting for service or otherwise abandon the service year without completing it.
Such persons should not register as fresh Prospective Corps Members.
The NYSC portal specifically identifies Remobilization for people who were mobilized in a previous batch but absconded from service in camp or after camping.
NYSC Remobilization 2026 Batch B
The 2026 Batch B Remobilization is for eligible Corps Members who previously absconded and are now required to return to the NYSC scheme.
If you belong to this set of people and you want to do NYSC again, you should visit the NYSC portal and select the “Remobilization 2026 B” option.
You are required to provide your:
- Former State Code
- Email Address
- Former Call-Up Number
After entering the required information, you can check your remobilization status.
How To Apply For NYSC Remobilization 2026 Batch B
If you are eligible for the 2026 Batch B remobilization, the process begins online through the official NYSC portal.
Step 1: Visit the NYSC Portal
Go to the official NYSC registration portal and locate the Remobilization option.
The official portal currently provides a dedicated remobilization service for Corps Members who previously absconded from service.
Step 2: Select Remobilization 2026 Batch B
Eligible applicants should select the Remobilization 2026 B option when it is available on their dashboard.
Step 3: Enter Your Previous NYSC Details
You will be required to provide details connected to your previous NYSC mobilization.
These include:
- Your former State Code
- Your email address
- Your former Call-Up Number
Make sure the information entered corresponds with your previous NYSC records.
Step 4: Check Your Remobilization Status
After entering the required information, click on the option to check your remobilization status.
The system will provide feedback based on your previous NYSC record. Recent instructions for the 2026 Batch B exercise indicate that the dashboard of eligible absconded Corps Members will be unblocked automatically after successful verification.
Step 5: Check Your Dashboard
Once your dashboard is accessible, follow the instructions provided there.
Where applicable, Corps Members who are required to refund allowances received during their previous service are expected to process the refund through their NYSC dashboard. The NYSC specifically advises that such refunds should be made through the dashboard.
Step 6: Print Your Remobilization Documents
Eligible Corps Members should be able to print their Remobilization Letter and Certificate Format bearing the designation 2026 Batch B.
These documents are important because they show that the Corps Member has been processed under the current remobilization exercise.
Who Is Eligible For NYSC Remobilization?
The key word here is absconded. Remobilization is not meant for people who missed camp. It’s for people who absconded after NYSC camp
According to NYSC, remobilization applies to people who were previously mobilized and absconded from service in camp or after camping.
Therefore, if you were deployed in a previous batch but never reported to camp at all, you may need to look at the revalidation process rather than remobilization.

What Happens After NYSC Remobilization?
Completing the online application is not necessarily the end of the process.
The 2026 Batch B remobilization instructions state that Corps Members who successfully complete the process should report immediately to the remobilized state for documentation.
Therefore, eligible Corps Members should pay attention to the instructions on their NYSC dashboard and the documents generated after registration.
Do not assume that completing the online application means you can remain at home until the next announcement.
Is NYSC Remobilization The Same As Fresh Registration?
No.
This is one of the most important things prospective applicants need to understand.
Fresh NYSC registration is meant for graduates who are being mobilized into the scheme for the first time.
Remobilization is for people who have already been mobilized and started their service but later absconded.
The official NYSC portal clearly separates Fresh Registration, Remobilization and Revalidation as different registration options.
Important Warning To Corps Members
Do not pay anyone claiming that they can “process” your NYSC remobilization for you.
The official NYSC portal is the appropriate platform for the online process, and applicants should be extremely careful with people requesting money for fake remobilization slots, deployment changes or certificate processing.
