Difference Between NYSC Revalidation And Remobilization
Re-validation
“I have been deployed in a previous NYSC batch but did not show up in camp”
In another form, you have been deployed to a state by NYSC and you refuse to show up at camp. After deployment, you are supposed to go for an orientation exercise.
Still not clear? let me use an example.
Opeyemi belongs to NYSC 2018 Batch A Stream I or II. The management deployed him to Kaduna but he refused to go to the orientation camp. Opeyemi is now ready for NYSC and wants to join NYSC 2019 Batch B or C, all he will need to do is REVALIDATE.
Whether you have completed your registration or not, whether you have printed your call-up letter or not, as long as you did not go to camp during the previous batch, you will revalidate.
Re-Mobilization
“I have been mobilized in a previous NYSC batch but absconded from service a few months after the orientation camp”
In this instance, you attended the orientation camp, did the normal registration on camp and then ran away. You will have to do remobilization.
Still not clear? let’s continue with our example above.
Opeyemi belongs to NYSC 2018 Batch A Stream I. The management deployed him to Kaduna and he was present at orientation camp. After orientation camp, he served for a few months and then he ran away.
Opeyemi is now ready for NYSC and wants to join NYSC 2019 Batch A or B, all he will need to do is REMOBILIZE.
In summary, Revalidation is for people who have registered with any previous batch but refused to show up at the orientation camp. Revalidation is specifically for people who absconded from their NYSC service after the orientation camp.

You can ask us any question below and please share to save others from confusion.
Please how can I revalidate after being mobilized consecutive times ( Batch B stream 1 & 2) but unfortunately couldn’t meet up and now ready during Batch C?
Please how can I revalidate after being mobilized in 2 consecutive times ( Batch B stream 1 & 2) but unfortunately couldn’t meet up and now ready during Batch C?
You can always revalidate anytime you wish
Hello, can I revalidate in the same stream? For example I have been mobilized for Batch C stream 1 and I want to be in Batch C stream 2.
You can’t. Better go with stream I ór go with next batch
What I got was Sorry! You are not in this stream we will notify you when to print your call up letter. Does than mean I will be on Batch C stream 2?
Yes
So worried because I registered the day registration started and why am I not in the 1st stream. When will the second stream be?
Nysc is not first come first serve. I’d doesn’t mean
Pls during revalidation will you be able to pick another state
You will be given another state. If you have picked states before, you won’t be able to pick again.
Good day, I do not know if you are also an NYSC staff, in my case, i could not complete my registration because my documents were not complete and I left camp as I could not partake in the SWEARING IN which converts one from a PCM to a Corper, on being confused about the revalidation/remobilization issue I enquired from a staff, I was informed i will REVALIDATE, not REMOBILIZE.
So if I am not mistaken, revalidation is for those who did not get to be sworn in(these are still PCMs), while remobilization is for those who had COMPLETED registration, been SWORN in but for one reason or the other could not complete serving during the service year
Once registration begins, revalidate
How many time you get to revalidate Nysc
Till you go to camp
Please when will revalidation for NYSC 2020 Batch A start
during the normal fresh registration
I was mobilized with batch C stream 2 last year but I did not register. Pls do I need to revalidate or remobilize for 2020 batch A?
You will revalidate
Pls Lola, if I see my name on the 2020 Batch A or B (any stream) lists and am not really ready to register for deployment, can I revalidate with Batch C and go with Batch C (any stream)
Yes
Hi, in a situation where I was deployed to say, katsina state and I did not go to camp or complete my registration, it means I will revalidate, if I revalidate, does this mean I will still end up in Katsina State or another State.
And no 2) in a situation where I left camp before the end of camping according to you I will remobilize, will I be remobilized to another state or the same state where I absconded from camp.
1. It will change
2. Same state
