A lot of PCM was awake all night thinking the call-up letter will drop by 12am on 26th, which is today. 12am passed and we saw nothing. 10 am, 12 pm, and 2 pm passed and still, there is no call-up letter.
No updates from the management so far. A lot of people believed the flood might be the reason for the delay, some even believed orientation camp is next month and not this month. A lot of ideas, assumptions, and news running around.
I’m not here for assumptions or rumors, I’m here to tell you directly as it is. It might not be comfortable, but I have to do it.
A while ago, the management indirectly revealed 26th as the tentative Camp date via Facebook and Twitter.
It was not announced in form of a public announcement like they always do normally. They revealed this tentative date in the comment section. It was not publicly announced.
We reached out to them and they say there is no information for now. So we decided to hold on.
A few days later, an orientation camp timetable went viral and it strengthens 26th as the Orientation camp date but still yet, no official announcement from the management.
What I’m driving at is that you all should know that the NYSC management did not officially announce 26th as the confirmed camp date for Batch C.
And also, the management did not announce that the call-up letter will be out today. Again, the NYSC management never announced it.
Today 23rd of October as the call-up letter printing day was due to the assumption that the camp date is 26th.
If the orientation camp will really hold on 26th then the call-up letter will be out by 23rd. That was the assumption that led us to hope for a call-up letter today.
