Total Expenses You Need For NYSC Mobilization

The total expenses for NYSC mobilization is another question we have been receiving from Prospective Corps members.

Some want to know what to prepare for and the exact amount they will need for the mobilization all together. See also: Top 10 Reasons People Hustle To Do NYSC In Lagos

There is really no special deal about this question but for the sake of those that have been asking, I will go ahead and clarify some things.

Internal Mobilization Fee

The first area of mobilization where you will have to pay money is during the internal mobilization.

Although this does not apply to all institutions as some schools mobilize qualified graduates free of charge. See also: 12 Facts Every Corper Should Know About June 12

The Internal mobilization is about an NYSC form you will be given at your DSA to fill for your school to mobilize you and most institutions do this for free.

Remember, this does not apply to all institutions in Nigeria and the fee is something the school management will make a decision on. 

Registration Fee 

Another expenses is the Cybercafe registration fee. The NYSC registration is free of charge but you will have to pay the Cafe man for his service.

The amount that the Cybercafe will charge you for registration depends on the Cyber Cafe owner. Although the NYSC management says they should charge 2k for the online registration.  However, some cyber cafe might charge higher. 

Call-Up Letter Printing Fees

The Only official expenses you will pay during NYSC registration is N3,000 and it’s for the NYSC Call-up letter [you will know more about the call-up letter later].

If you want to be able to check and print your NYSC call-up letter from your dashboard, you have to pay the money.

If you don’t want to pay, you will have to travel to your school to pick up the call-Up letter once its out. I will advice you pay.

Printing & Photocopying Fees

Another expenses you will settle is when the call-up letter is out and you will have to go to the cyber cafe to print it with the green card. 

There is no general price about that as it depends solely on your cyber cafe of choice.
