This is to inform [highlight color=”yellow”]2018 Batch “C” Stream II PCMs[/highlight] that you can now request for Correction of Name on your dashboard by clicking “Apply for Change of Name” link.
Kindly note that your Student Affair Officer, will see the request for Addition, Removal, Replacement, process and forward to NYSC for further necessary action.
You will not be registered on camp, if there is a disparity in the name uploaded online, that appears on your dashboard and that of your Statement of Result.Â

Pls I have problem with name I want to add habila to my call up letter because I am sent out off camp in bauchi state but my student affairs said he have write letter and sgn by the registered before upload it pls I don’t understand

If you have registered, you can correct it on the dashboard by following the instruction above. If you have not registered, contact your Division of student affairs in your school.
When I first saw it,I went to my school and I was told it has been rectified but it still appears like that,someone said I can apply for change of name at the camp,is that possible?
You see that warning above there is valid. Lots of Corpers are sent out of Camp because of that. Better fix it before camp
Better go to the cyber ca. man where u registered nysc and ask him to help you apply for letter of change of name. i did dsame but i was in stream 1 of the same batch c. Do it now before ur call up letter is asked to be print.

You have to visit a very close NYSC secretariat close to you. They will rectify it.
Please what of if my name is james chigozie in some documents and some others is james chukwugozie, will it be a problem in camp?
Knowing that the first name is just the short form of the second name, also including that other vital info are the same, like school reg number or jamb reg number or even passport. Will it be an issue in camp, if yes what can be done to rectify this?
There might not be a chance in camp. Please try as much as possible to rectify it on your Dashboard or contact your school.

Why is it different from the ID card and certificate?
Its because of the space allocated to writing of names there was little, thats why the person filling it just felt since its the same why not shorten it instead. Please, What do i do about it?

No there is no problem about that. You have nothing to worry about
It’s always good to choose a particular one and use it for all your official documents instead of using short in some places and using long in some places. It’s better you rectify it and make is all the same with the one on your certificate. Any disparity in your name will get you out of camp

Tell her to go to Camp with the marriage certificates and other necessary documents for married people. She will fix it at the Ict center in camp

You don’t need to print your green card for now. Just relax and give NYSC the chance to correct it.

Now i got another statement of result with my third name added, but i am unable to add the name on the dashboard. It says i should ensure i dont have a pending request.
