Difference Between NYSC Revalidation And Remobilization
“I have been deployed in a previous NYSC batch but did not show up in camp”
In another form, you have been deployed to a state by NYSC and you refuse to show up at camp. After deployment, you are supposed to go for an orientation exercise.
Still not clear? let me use an example.
Opeyemi belongs to NYSC 2018 Batch B Stream I. He was deployed to Kaduna but he refused to go for the orientation camp. Opeyemi is now ready for NYSC and wants to join NYSC 2019 Batch A or B Stream II, all he will need to do is REVALIDATE.
Either you have completed your registration or not, either you have printed your call-up letter or not, as long as you did not go to camp, you will revalidate.
“I have been mobilized in a previous NYSC batch but absconded from service in camp or after camping”
In this instance, you attended the orientation camp, do the normal registration on camp and then you run away. You will have to do remobilization
Still not clear? let’s continue with our example above.
Opeyemi belongs to NYSC 2018 Batch B Stream I. He was deployed to Kaduna and he was present at orientation camp. After orientation camp or before the end of orientation camp, he runs away. Opeyemi is now ready for NYSC and wants to join NYSC 2019 Batch A or B Stream II, all he will need to do is REMOBILIZE.
